Wow great idea. I'm from Minnesota and very used to extreme temps etc. but I couldn't figure out what to suggest you do in Texas to get through this. Greatest dad idea use the car battery and a crock pot Nice thanks Dad. Stick together snuggle tell jokes it's gotta warm up soon it's Texas for crying out loud.
Can't really tell, but looks like you guys are outside. But for everyone in Texas, please please please don't try this in your garage. You'll breathe in the exhaust from your engine and possibly never wake up. Hope it gets better for you all (sorry, ya'll) down there soon. Hugs from a Yankee.
