It's hard to quantify because Republicans allowed it for 5yrs. By ignoring and excusing Trump's criminal behavior over the years a precedence of acceptance was created. Now that Trump went even further the Right has no frame of reference for where the line is.

What does it matter, when he could piss on the Constitution or set it on fire and his followers would praise his actions? This whole thing has gone beyond a talking point and now threatens to destroy the 244 years of work put into the fabric of our country!
