My parents and grandparents used to watch me eat and just smile. I thought it was so weird and annoying. Now, as a new father, watching my little girl munching away on her food fills me with so much emotion. I get it now. Unfortunately I can't let my grandma or grandpa know that I finally understand and appreciate them, but I'm sure as hell going to let my mom and dad know while I still can.
