As someone who uses skeuomorphism and organic designs, literally 90% of the challenge is to not accidentally make things look like poo, pee, puke, or a dick. It's amazing how easy it is to accidentally paint a giant pile of chunder or make any elongated object accidentally remind of a peepee.
In this case the main issue is the brown is only on keycaps, exactly where you would get the diarrhea if your were typing while diaping or something. A more even distribution of brown might help, but really greys and blues and cooler colors are your friend. Things don't rot or puke or crap a blueish white normally.
Messing with the contrast would also help. The difference between brown and everything else is not subtle at all. If it were, it would be less distracting, and also less like something that could be made by bathroom finger painting.
More fine scale detail could also help, that's an uncommon features in poosmears.
Sharpen, edge enhance, lighten and paleify, it might actually be decent.
It really has some potential... It's just awful though. But probably looks better in person where the fine detail is more visible.
