I’m a half black man and I made the mistake of driving through Harrison last summer on my way to Missouri. I wondered why I was getting so many dirty looks when I stopped for gas and to use the restroom. I then realized where exactly I was. I had planned on getting food but very quickly decided I wasn’t hungry anymore.
