I know a guy who was run over by a steam roller. He actually lived because they’d just put down a load of sand and it just squashed him down into it and went overtop. Sure hope he bought a lottery ticket that day.

Edit: it’s been brought to my attention that while I did mention it in the threads below I didn’t bother to include a rather important detail in this initial comment so here it is:

He ran himself over with it. He forgot to use the brake when he got off for a moment and left it idling.

And you keep still because you think that maybe his visual acuity is based on movement like a Zamboni - he'll lose you if you don't move. But no, not the Steamroller. You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, from the other two rollers you didn't even know were there. Because the Steamroller's a pack hunter, you see, he uses coordinated attack patterns and he is out in force today. And he crushes at you with this...

A 20 ton drum, like a rolling press, on the front of the machine. He doesn't bother to just crush a limb like a hydraulic press, say... no no. He just crushes you completely...

Edit: Wow, this blew up. Lol. Thank you all for the kind words and awards.

General John MacAurthur is his character from Agatha Christie's story " And Then There Were None" 2015 BBC movie.

It's not at all how the tone of his character in the movie (or the movie in general), but it was a great movie.
