In Ramallah, Palestine, a company called Salta Burgers constructed a real-life Krusty Krab, which received online attention. It opened on July 24, 2014, serving seafood and its own version of the Krabby Patty; The restaurant was in operation as of 2017, but was shut down by 2019.
