Donald Trump may be out of office, but he’s still desperately trying to assuage his own ego.
Trump’s team sent out a memo yesterday from the “Office of the Former President,” an office that does not, in fact, exist. It would appear Trump gave himself a participation trophy for losing the election.

“The office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump administration through advocacy, organizing and public activism,” the office said in a statement. “President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American people.”
Former presidents are given a budget for an office after they leave the presidency, but there is no formal name for it and it is not a government office of any sort. Trump’s office will be in Florida where he has retired to his golf club.
Out Trump supporter Richard Grenell said this week in an interview that Trump personally told him that he hopes to run for president again in 2024.
“He’s told me, personally, multiple times that he does want to run again, so we’ll see if that holds, and how that comes about,” the former ambassador to Germany and acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) told conservative network Newsmax TV.
Trump is considering forming a new political party he wants to call the “Patriot Party.” The move could rip the Republican Party asunder.

Let's not meme this. Trump had been a life-long marketer, and he will continue to market himself. Just like how a bunch of businessmen will market the hell out of their paid-for degrees, doctorates and whatnot, Trump will use every opportunity to put a positive spin onto everything he touches. And people will fall for it.
What are the rest of the country doing? You can't fight a marketer's attempt at marketing his own brand by talking about it, you give it fuel to propagate further. And there's an idiot born every minute who will buy into this bullshit. The country should do the right thing and actually sentence this narcissist in court. The more they let him do his own thing unhindered, the more they allow his brand of extremism to fester and grow.
