Ariel Robinson, age 29, who won Season 20 of Food Network’s ‘Worst Cooks In America’ has been arrested for child murder prompting the broadcaster to eliminate the latest season of its reality series.
Robinson was charged on Tuesday along with her husband Jerry with counts of homicide by child abuse in the death of their adopted 3-year-old daughter Victoria Rose Smith in South Carolina.
On January 14, Simpsonville police found an unresponsive child at the couple’s home, according to television station WHNS. The young girl died due to several blunt force injuries, as per a medical examiner at the Greenville Country Coroner’s Office.
Ariel Robinson, who was a former ELA teacher at Sanders Middle School and an aspiring stand-up-comedian, won $25,000 in the most recent edition of Worst Cooks in America, a competition between individuals who possess sub-par cooking skills. Contestants participate in a boot camp supervised by a celebrity chef in the competition.
The Food Network has erased all content tied to the Season 20 installment of the show, which was filmed in February 2020 and aired last year. The Food Network has not yet released a comment on the incident.
The episodes are no longer available on Food Network’s Discovery+ platform, Hulu or YouTube, however episode synopses still appear on the network’s official website.
Robinson adopted three foster children into her family in March 2020 after the show began taping, however it’s not clear if Smith was one of them.

Wow, the kid was adopted too. Fucking piece of shit. Why go through all that work to adopt to then abuse and murder the kid?? Glad they erased her "fame"
