You joke, but when I lived in the mountains, I woke up to a tickling on my neck one night. It was pretty common, so I thought a leaf had blown in the window (we had no screens).
So, I reach back, pull the leaf off my neck (and at this point I’m sure it’s a leaf because it fucking crinkles in my hand), and throw it next to me on the bed.
