This is the way. You want your favorite game to have a come back, log in and adopt some noobs. Show em the ropes and hook them up with your old gear you don't need. Gate keeping only leads to stagnation and death.

I joined my first LOL game in the newbie/casual queue.
My whole team ripped on me the whole time yelling at me to uninstall. I obliged. All interest in LOL instantly died.
