First of all, people at my local McDonald's already make $15 an hour because they don't make tips. People at sit-down restaurants are allowed to be paid a lot less than minimum wage because of tips, so the idea that sit-down prices equate to better wages is ludicrous.
And secondly, this is the dumbest fucking argument even if it were true, which it's not. Hannah's basically saying that we can't have cheap food without subjecting the people who make it to inescapable poverty. If that's the case, maybe we shouldn't have cheap food.
