Legit question - Do Supreme Court justices usually recuse themselves in situations like this?

I know lower courts do, but sometimes the Supreme Court acts very differently than the rest of our judicial system. Is there precedent for this?

Edit: Well that's embarrassing. You'd think I'd have learned the lesson "read the article before commenting" by now. But at least other people reading my comment will know now as well.
