I’m doing my 2nd play as Corpo, and I just got past that part. It was absurdly incongruous. Kinda funny.
Luxury V sobbing “I lost everything, Jackie!” to talking street slang and acting like they’ve always been about dem streets, yo.
Nomad path is the same deal, just slightly less jarring of a transition.
It’s almost as if the life path choice makes no difference except for the prologue you get, and a few lines of dialogue throughout. Just as advertised. 😂
I think the Corpo prologue was the most blatantly unfinished. Not only because it's "here's what you will be doing - sike you're not we're moving on!" But also because it makes no sense that Abernathy's agents just let you live. They only do because plot armor.
Seriously I found this so damn disappointing. Also I got rid of my suit for better gear early on only to find out that there's literally only one actual suit in the game except for the goofy ones that drop in 15 different colors.
