Tipping was a great idea... until we started to act like it was mandatory.
The tip is supposed to be a "reward" for doing a good job. If I must pay it regardless of your performance, what's the damn point? It's just me giving you free money because reasons.
And no, it's NOT my fault if your employer is a cheap pos.
How about every fucking place I go to besides Walgreens stops asking me to tip. I'm broke as fuck. Stop trying to shame me for trying to enjoy a few tacos for under $10. All you did is sprinkle some cheese on the shit. Now I gotta worry that you're gonna skimp me next time if I don't tip you?

Edit: I’m not saying not to tip. Just that tips are proportional to what you ordered. They can’t/shouldn’t be a fixed amount
Edit2: living wage! Tips should be the icing on the cake not your main source of revenue.
