Can we take a moment to acknowledge that these people thought they were gonna buy airline tickets on a credit card, fly to the capital, storm the capitol, livestream themselves doing it without masks on, and then just go home? S2g they thought they were playing a video game and that when they got into the building the screen was gonna say "Mission Success" and then jump to a cut scene of them being the new ruling elite of Trumpistan. No OpSec, no plan for what to do once they got into the building, they had friendly cops to let them in and congresspeople livetweeting the locations of their targets and all they did was meme around for a little bit, leave, then get busted at the airport. And they're shocked that it happened at all. They've been in a bubble for so long that they never considered there would be any real resistance, or consequences. They didn't have a plan to get in, they didn't have a plan for what to do once they were in, they didn't have a plan to get out, they didn't try to hide themselves, they were just LARPing this whole time.
God help us if the fascists ever become competent.
