Oh my God I miss indian food!!! So jealous! I recently moved back to the US and the city I'm in doesn't have indian food. Closest place is 2 hrs away

Since a lot of you are asking for the recipes, here they are.

Butter chicken: I followed this video: https://youtu.be/RKNogWbAivY

Garlic naan: Kneaded a soft dough with refined flour, salt, sugar, baking soda, yogurt and warm water. Knead well for 10-15 mins. Apply some oil and rest for at least an hour. Then roll into the desired shape and I topped them with garlic, cilantro, nigella seeds before cooking on the pan. Then apply butter as needed.

I’ve made naan many times and this is the basic recipe I use. Most times I use a combination of whole wheat and refined flour. This was the video I followed when making it for the first time: https://youtu.be/WnkTTvAVisU , It also shows the process to cook a naan on a pan. Which is difficult to do on an electric stove, so you can just cook it on both sides as you would normally.

Some response to common questions:

No I didn’t just eat 4 naans (It is actually 2 huge naans cut into smaller ones). This was the first batch and I just assembled the plate to click a photo. The meal was made for 4 people who thoroughly enjoyed it !

Will update the common questions if needed :)
