I was a religious reader when The Onion was in print and would leave my copies with the waiting room magazines at a job I had. I always got a laugh when a customer would "eat The Onion" and express dismay/shock at one of the fake headlines.
Ah, I remember Thursday mornings fondly. The Onion just isn't the same online. Reading a funny Onion article on the web is just kind of, "Heh, yup! Lots of funny stuff on that internet!" But reading hilarious satire in an actual newspaper, with a masthead and columns and all of that jazz? That was a truly special experience that the internet just can't match!
