Oh, man. The hospital pisses me off. The hospital my kids were born at is in the suburbs. No one is parking there for any reason other than to visit someone in the hospital, be in the hospital themselves, or work/volunteer at the hospital. There is no paid parking anywhere near this hospital, but they charge an arm and a leg for parking.
Can I add, the place that I work. I pay $100 monthly to park. It drives me nuts every time I have to pay it. It’s definitely a distant 3rd but still annoying. My father in law was in the hospital for a year. We spent $8-$12 every time we visited. That was if we were in the same vehicle. If we drove separately it was double. Now imagine how many time one visits their father or father in law in the hospital over the course of a year.

I pay $150/month. Which is a steal, really, in Seattle.
