My car broke down a few months ago and needs $800 in repairs, which I can't afford now. So I walk about a mile each way in the freezing cold weather to take the bus to work. Two grand would be a fucking godsend for me.
I can't believe someone is that far removed from what I consider normal every day life.

That's ridiculous . if I were to get the $2,000 stimulus it would probably all go to fixing up my car and groceries and bills.
