As a mother of two young sons, I would respond with, “if you’re so worried about these “bad” people assaulting women, why do you want to send them into the other bathroom with my sons?” Usually, they would just stare back at me blankly, having never considered that.
I honestly just wish they would make bathrooms more private in general. I don't care who is in there as long as I have some privacy. I hate no dividers at urinals and I wish stall doors would drop down lower or not have such large gaps between the panals. I mean one time I was at the airport sitting on the toilet and a child legit crawled under the gap into my stall. I had to shoo him away it was slightly funny but more annoying. When you find one of those nice full privacy luxury stalls it's like heaven sometimes.
