As an Uber driver, I feel this. They see my signs and assume I have cash tips. They don't know I am just a couple months away from being them if I don't get out there and make that money.

I used to manage a hot dog stand (I know right?) and this one homeless guy would hang out near me all the time. He would get on average about two people per day to buy hot dogs for him but on one particularly slow evening with no one else around he approached me to buy a dog. He opened up his coat and he had these huge gallon bags attached on the inside, one filled with pennies, one with quarters, etc. Then he reaches into a pocket and pulls out an absolutely monstrous stack of bills, sorts through it all to find a five, and pays for his food and goes back to his spot. I was absolutely shocked, dude had more money than I had. He was a cool dude, never said much, just wanted to be left alone and sit in his spot.

I feel bad for people but like if you walk in to the street and hit my window (this has happened)like that’s not okay
