It’s raining where I am so I couldn’t see it :( maybe when it happens again in 800 years I’ll see it then. No “Christmas star” for me this year :(

I'm going to ask a really dumb question... Is the view different from different parts of the planet? It was a gorgeous clear night so we saw them clear as day, but they weren't that close together. Not like the pics I've seen.
