Was listening to This American Life talking about the US betraying a tribe over and over and over until they were finally forced to fight back and were slaughtered in the ensuing battles. A teacher going over those events said "We learned how the Indians weren't as good at settling disagreements as the Americans."

Trail of tears wasn’t too toed around, at least not where I grew up. Shouldn’t be any secret that we have most of America by right of conquest.

But Native Americans did teach colonists to grow corn. That's a fact. It didn't turn out all that well, but there are still a multitude of facts to be acknowledged.
