I used to make fun of my dog for being excited to see me when I was only gone for 10 minutes.
Then my son went away for a bit and came back. Now I understand my dog. Always happy when my son comes back, time is irrelevant.
Edit: Wow this blew up. My apology in advance for ruining things with a surprise gender reveal, but I'm not a Mom. I'm a Dad. lol Thank you all for awards and really nice comments. To those of you with bad parent experiences, I'm truly sorry. I wish there was some way to change all that for you. Remember that there are people who love and care about you, even if your parents don't seem to. Happy Holidays!
This makes me miss my mom and dad. This is the first time in over 40 years I won’t be seeing them on Christmas because of this stupid virus. A video call is not the same.
