EMTs in west Kentucky get paid $9 an hour. It’s a program where you work 30 hours a week for $9 an hour and the program pays for your medical certification (this is just a certification showing you’re met qualified not a medical degree). My friend did this and it’s for like 6 months. You sign a contract saying if you don’t finish you pay the hospital like $20,000 in the certification fee. It’s bogus.

Edit for clarity: what I meant was EMTs in training get $9/hr. The training takes 6 months of working almost full time and crazy hours. Idk what EMTs get paid after they finish the 6 month training.

Is it me or is every article on the internet starting to look like just lies, celebrity gossip, advertisements everywhere. Every freeking site has the background ads and you could barely scroll past it without the “do you accept cookies?”

It's important to note that she requested anonymity and the author went and called her mother and her employer. Because shaming her wasn't quite enough, they wanted her fired too. He's gigantic pile of shit.
