Said it before and I'll say it again. The crowd of gamers calling for the game's release had no impact on CDPR dropping the game in a buggy and unfinished state. The game was released unfinished because if it wasn't out in time for Christmas then the dev studio would be torn a new asshole by their shareholders. CDPR and the shareholders who have them by the balls don't give a shit if the initial reviews are bad, people were going to buy it anyway, and it's more profitable to release it broken before Christmas, than release it finished afterwards. Making good video games is secondary to making money.
