Unless you want your cake to be greasy af don't double up on the butter. However, adding a box of pudding mix will make a moist, rich, and bakery-like cake.

OCTUPLE THE BUTTER!!!
SLICE THE CAKE INTO INDIVIDUAL SLICES, BUTTER THEM ALL, PUT THE SLICES BACK TOGETHER INTO A WHOLE CAKE, REBAKE IT
MAKE THE FROSTING OUT OF BUTTER, MAKE THE PLATE OUT OF BUTTER
