This is such a nice gesture! I also appreciate how they made out the tip so the total amount would be a nice round number.
Edit: I've learned from the replies to this comment that this is actually a nuisance for the servers, since they later need to cash out in small change (for some reason I assumed they would be added up and consolidated). So, as much satisfaction round numbers give me, I'll try not to do this anymore moving forward.
Story time: one of my family traditions is having Christmas eve dinner out and leaving a $100 bill as a tip. A couple years ago, the restaurant was minimally staffed and were were waited on by the manager. As we were leaving, I saw her pick up the tip and put it on one of the tables of the other waitress.
