Acknowledging that biological sex exists and there are biological differences between the male and females sexes is not transphobic.
If it was a competition for physical strength, males have a biological advantage. Females have other biological advantages over males as well, but not really in areas that would have a great impact on sport. The only sport biological female bodies might have any advantage in is long distance/endurance swimming because female bodies are don’t carry as much dense muscle as male ones.

Allowing trans men to compete against women is sexist because regardless of sexual identity, biology gives a humongous advantage to people who are physiologically men.
