This is unfortunately pretty common in the space. Steve and the GN crew made a video talking about it after a small YouTube channel was being bullied by MSI.
NVIDIA is super weird. I love their products, but I absolutely despise them. I love open source things and products holding off release to prevent insane supply shortages. NVIDIA just says "fuck it" to all of that.
