EXCLUSIVE: After months speculating whether Rachel McAdams would return to reprise her role in the next Doctor Strange film, sources tell Deadline that McAdams has closed a deal to join Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Cumberbatch also returns to reprise the title role with Sam Raimi taking over directing duties.

Benedict Wong and Chiwetel Ejiofor also are expected to reprise their roles from the original film as fellow sorcerer Wong and Strange’s compatriot-turned-nemesis Karl Mordo, respectively.

Plot details are unknown at this time, as is how big of role McAdams will have.

Production will begin after Cumberbatch finishes filming on the next Spider-Man pic, where he also will be playing Doctor Strange.

Raimi, meanwhile, will need to get up to speed before the film’s scheduled production start date in May.

McAdams is coming off her heartwarming performance in the Netflix musical comedy Eurovision, which showed off her comedic chops again and earned her strong reviews across the board. »

(CNN) The Supreme Court ruled 8-0 on Thursday that the military can prosecute at any time sexual assault cases committed between 1986 and 2006, overturning what had been a loophole of a five-year statute of limitations that existed for military sexual assault before 2006.

The case centered on three men in the Air Force whose rape convictions were overturned in 2018 -- including one whose confession the Air Force recorded -- when the top military appeals court affirmed that the five-year statute of limitations existed for military sexual assault before 2006.

In 2006, Congress revised the military code again, making clear that rape could be prosecuted "at any time without limitation.". »

About eight representatives and 21 staffers have reported testing positive so far, said Gideon D'Assandro, communications director and press secretary for Michigan's House speaker.

D'Assandro would not detail the timing of the infections, and it was unclear if any of the positive cases came after Giuliani's visit.

Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal attorney, testified Dec. 2 about unverified election fraud allegations, just days before Trump announced that Giuliani had tested positive. »
