Just a heads up, I broke a glass top a while back, you can order just the glass piece. It is a pain in the arse to install though as you have to prop it up and screw the burners in to the bottom of the glass at a very awkward angle. Also make sure to unplug it, I forgot to and killed one of my back burners like an idiot.

If you purchased this with a credit card, a lot of premium cards have something called Purchase Assurance. My credit card will cover most goods that are purchased 90 days from theft, damage, or loss. You should look into it. I've used the insurance a few times.
