Used to work at a sporting goods store. A lady came in one day who said she was taking her kids camping and bought a canister of bear spray (pepper spray to deter charging aggressive bears).

We completed the sale and she left. 5 minutes later she walked back in the store and asked, "Just to be clear, if we see a bear I should spray the kids down for protection, right?"

When I worked at Radio Shack a woman came in furious saying that her laptop was broken. I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't come on so I asked if she had the power cord, to which she said "what part of wireless networking do you not fucking understand?"

I used to work help desk for a large corporation. They had a guy call in saying he couldn't get on the wifi. After some 15 minutes of trying to troubleshoot he finally admitted he wasn't in the office and was at home, about 15 miles from the office. It took some time to explain why the wifi wouldn't work so far away from corporate.

It wasn't my call, it was a coworkers.
