The county, which is home to more than 537,000 voters, will have just five polling sites when early voting kicks off on December 14.
Along with Cobb County, three of the other 10 most populous counties in the state will reduce their early voting locations, according to NBC News.
In some cases, the nearest available polling site will be up to 12 miles away with inadequate transportation options.
The groups called on election officials to keep the same number of early-voting locations as it had during the general election.
"We lost several of our advance voting managers and assistant managers due to the holidays, the workload and the pandemic," she said in her response to the groups.
"The remaining team members who agreed to work would do so only if the hours were less onerous.
