When I worked at a hotel, the owner was jewish and he would often rent out the whole hotel to his kids' jewish school for the shabbat (sp?)
Whenever I'd go downstairs to clean the room where the men were eating, they'd always offer me a couple glasses of whatever they were drinking and a plate of whatever they were eating.
When they were done for the weekend, they gave me enough leftovers to last the whole week.
Amazing, amazing people. Some of the kindest guests we had.
