Heart rate recorded on an Apple Watch and visual created in DataGraph for macOS Defense average was calculated for the period of the actual defense session (14:00 to 15:30) Labeled events were matched with the time stamp on my video recording.

Congratulations. I remember when I defended my PhD it was nerve racking for the first hour then I realized several in the audience were asleep. Usually, by the time you get to your defense all of your advisors should have signed off. But, its still a culmination of many years of work. My theory is , the defense is the compromise where your don't care anymore and your advisor realizes they won't get any more free work :)
