Warner Bros. is radically changing up its distribution strategy for 2021, releasing all 17 of its movies for the year in theaters and on HBO Max simultaneously.

Just as “Wonder Woman 1984” will be released on Christmas Day both in theaters and on HBO Max, Warner Bros.’ entire 2021 slate will play on the WarnerMedia streaming service and theatrically worldwide.

However, every film will be available for just one month on HBO Max before it leaves the platform, and it will then continue playing theaters with normal distribution windows.

Again, this applies to every movie on Warner’s 2021 slate — though some are still in production and the exact list is subject to change.

As with Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman” sequel, all of the films will additionally be available on HBO Max in 4K Ultra HD and HDR.

We believe this approach serves our fans, supports exhibitors and filmmakers, and enhances the HBO Max experience, creating value for all.”.

Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group, added, “This hybrid exhibition model enables us to best support our films, creative partners and moviegoing in general throughout 2021.”. »

CNN's chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta described the US president’s speech, which was posted on social media, as a “propaganda video,” and declined to broadcast any snippets.

CNN news anchor Erin Burnett also declined to show Mr Trump’s speech because to do so would “amplify things that are factually untrue, and the president knows to be factually untrue,” she said.

Mr Trump, who has denied the election result, alleged votes were “stolen”, and failed to overturn results through the courts, had labelled the speech as “maybe the most important speech I’ve ever made”. »

But more than a thousand years after the western Roman Empire crumbled to dust, its concrete structures are still standing.

Now, scientists have finally figured out why: a special ingredient that makes the cement grow stronger—not weaker—over time.

Because both minerals take centuries to strengthen concrete, modern scientists are still working on recreating a modern version of Roman cement. »

Experts Doubt the Sun Is Actually Burning Coal

Authored by scientificamerican.com

The sun, in all probability, is not a burning, but an incandescent, body.

Its light is rather that of a glowing molten metal than that of a burning furnace.

But it is impossible that the sun should constantly be giving out heat, without either losing heat or being supplied with new fuel. »
