I know someone who is Nuclear Engineer with a PhD he works on satellite propulsion systems for NASA. He's been there for a long time. I once looked up salary for a 1st year at NASA with a PhD in nuclear engineering. In 2007 it was was like 100k. In 2016 it was 75k. If salaries for engineering with a PhD has gone down 25% what hope do they rest of us have?

Only the rich can have the American dream. Except in 26 other countries where it’s easier than in US.

I'd also like to note that Devos embodies the "I got mine" mentality.
In 1975 (the year she got her BA in Arts for Business), these are the average costs of a student loan:
Private college tuition, fees, room and board: $17,450
Public college in-state tuition, fees, room and board: $8,420
If only, right guys?? I'd love a degree, so I can apply to all those low paying data entry jobs that require one!
