Awesome story but what I find just as awesome is the fact that the prison library actually has sufficient resources for someone to study law enough to become a lawyer.

Every time I hear about people who have done this, I think of the level of dedication involved, the feeling & pressure that comes from pulling yourself up from the bottom of society. Human ingenuity & perseverance in the face of true adversity is something amazing.

Imagine the outrage of being told in front of everyone that you are lying. Then multiply it by 100 and apply daily for 10 years.

I can't believe the zen of this guy, although he probably had to choose live with it or go insane.
