Being attentive to shorter people behind you only works upto a point. I try to move them in front of me or step out of their way, but when your in a crowd you can't move out of the way of the entire crowd.
Eh as a tall guy it's really not that simple. Stepping to the side you're just gonna block someone else. I try and let shorter people get in front or I move but I'm practically taller than 99% of people and I can't make all of them happy.
Usuallay there will just be a gap behind me or people that are not that into the band (I go to festivals; not concerts).
If it’s a voluntary offer to swap places, then fine — totally cool with that. I had two short girls pushing at the back trying to get to the front (they wanted a good look of Brian Molko, nothing more while everyone else respected their given spot). I was a bit annoyed, said nothing, but the guy and his girlfriend standing next to me berated them. I mean, I’m pretty short myself but I won’t push and shove people in front of me just to get a better glimpse of the artist(s). You should be kind and courteous, but only to a point.
