Could your contribution to society actually be worth over $1 billion? I suppose if you single-handedly cured cancer or something, it might. But that's not what we're talking about. The wealth of billionaires exists almost exclusively because of the hard work of others.
Maybe they founded a corporation and that's how they became rich. So they were there first. So what? I mean, sure, congratulations. But the corporation only became what it became because of laborers, and the value those laborers produced was largely stolen.
