I heard he had a bad relationship with George Lucas and got banned from the star wars cons if I remember correctly. Sad he's passed away.

He deserved so much more recognition and respect than he got, but I hope he passed away with no regrets about working on Star Wars, or regrets about any other part of his life. Rest peacefully, Mr. Prowse. :(
