Vivian Lord wrote to toy manufacturers about the lack of Army Women & one of them responded by putting them into production! Vivian says she's going to play with them everyday.
I know it's not related, but I was in a major store today for their buy one get one for 1$ and the lack of women's work boots with steel toe was infuriating... I am currently wearing mens size 8 which of course they don't carry anything below a size 9 in the men's section, so I couldn't even get a boot for a deal in men's either... Just my rant and needed to get this off my chest and out there ..
