the director clicked on an ad that he thought was to win diesel. but when he called the contact number and realized it was just an actor, he went through with the casting process to avoid embarrassment. true story btw.
You can tell it’s a Vin Diesel movie because you can see his arms, and had he once(allegedly) told director John Frankenheimer, “I save my arms for Vin Diesel movies” when asked why he only wanted to wear a long sleeved shirt.
