I went to college after high school graduation. I got accepted to a big expensive university on scholarship.
I had an emotional breakdown in the third year and had to quit.
Here I am now, about to get an associates degree from a community college. Do I wish I hadn’t failed? Yeah. Do I feel like a failure? No. Am I glad I left on my own terms instead of getting kicked out? Yeah.

Am I done yet? No.

I’m 36 and just finished my first semester back. Hope to finish my degree at 38 as well. I needed to see this today.
