One of the first things I did when I bought my house was do a load of laundry at 3am just because I could. Hated it when I was living at an apartment that would lock my laundry inside if I started a load past 10pm even though the room was far away from any of the units. Also with only four machines, I hated walking all the way over there just to find out they were being used and have to go back to the apartment and wait.

I don't get how landlords can be like this. Moral issues aside, it makes business sense to keep things in working order and have happy customers.
