I found it on my leg in June. Called the doctor and they said not to worry, I pushed them to refer me to a skin specialist and then they cut it out and ran the biopsy which came back malignant so they had to cut out the surrounding tissue so they cut a chunk out of my leg.
The hardest part was telling people, I was so embarrassed. Most of the time people were very dismissive, like "oh skin cancer, that's super treatable". I dreaded telling my mom since cancer took my dad a few years ago.
Still doing my physio now and getting back on my feet, literally.
