This is a double edged sword. I will not expect friends or family to give discounts, but when I am able to offer a service to them at a reduced or free rate, I will. I suppose, always expect to pay the full amount.
i'm more the kinda guy that does stuff for free for friends as favour. But i do expect friends to do the same back when the time comes. So no fights about money just friends doing favours for each other.
