My pro-Trump coworker sent me this original video yesterday as part of his “proof” that The Democrats were stealing the election. I told him the video looked super fake. I sent him this article now and he says “I knew the video was fake, it’s a joke, but the point is still true.” There’s no reasoning with these people.

EDIT: A lot of people are suggesting violence against my coworker. I don’t have time to respond to all of these comments but just wanted to say that I don’t believe violence is the answer. I don’t know how we as a country move forward when almost half of the population is willing to vote for Trump, but I think love and empathy are the keys to doing it, not more hate.

It doesn't matter that he was "busted." The point isn't to spread actual evidence of illegality. The point is to put it out into the public that the election is being stolen. It doesn't matter if the evidence for this is phony. The only thing that matters to the Trump team is that Trump supporters believe that the election is being stolen and they don't accept the results. That is their goal.

Seems like spreading disinformation with regard to a federal election would be illegal.
